Project overview

VegFest is a celebration of all vegetarian, vegan, and raw foods. Vendors come from all over Washington ranging from classic Indian veggie dishes to new age smoothies and raw salads.

VegFest needed an updated identity that appeals to the gentrified modern community of the greater Seattle-Metro area.

Rough Edges

A rough graphic style was chosen to reflect a natural earthy identity.
A volumous 'fat-face' typeface, Recoleta, gives a sharp but juicy contrast
to the distressed logo. A natural, muted color pallete was selected
to contrast the colorful veggies.

Applied Branding

A spread of the vegetable logo elements have emerged as
a decorative motif. Applied below to packaging and promotional
materials, it adds to the identity celebrating vegetables.
