Brand overview

The Girl Scouts of America have been a guiding influence in young women's lives since 1912. Through each generation of scouts, their role as community mentors has grown, as more is asked of women in each modern society.

The brand behind such a historic organization has seen just as many redevelopments as its needs have changed during many technologic shifts. When the Girl Scouts recognized that their web presence needed a new direction, I saw an opportunity to look back on their past.

  • Branding and a Classic Identity
  • Website / Digital platforms
  • Content strategy for social media

Best of Both Worlds

We'll merge the classic Girl Scout history and
its modern brand elements, to create a website
worthy of the organization's rich past.

While the website must look good,
We must consider who will use it
and what they will need.

01. Join

A user who's goal is to find out more about
Girl Scouts, and decides to join a troop.
A girl of any age eligable to join.

02. Volunteer

A user who's goal is to connect with a local
troop, and support the growth of young girls.
An older woman looking for community.

03. Donate

A user who's goal is to donate financially to
the Girl Scouts, supporting the organization.
A community philanthropist.
